Tram

Set up in 1928, trams are the oldest transportation form in Donetsk. One tram-wagon has remained since 1928 and is travelling the Line No.1 spring through summer. All in all, the city operates 10 tram lines of about 130 km.

All trams have conductors on board. You pay them the fare (UAH 1) and get a ticket. You should keep the ticket until the end of the trip as they are checked randomly by enforcement officers (kontrolyor). A monthly travel card is a good bargain if you intend to stay in Donetsk for a month.
