Money

A single currency hryvnia (UAH) is in use throughout Ukraine. All goods and services are sold only in hryvnias. Taxis or pubs are also very reluctant to take dollars or Euros. If they do, the exchange rate may be dreadful.

UAH is not freely available in other countries. You will probably take euros or dollars. Currency exchanges are open in the airport and the railway station. Another way to get some local cash is an ATM.
