What you can take out

• The money of not over $3,000 or declared on the arrival
• Everything bought in duty-free
• Items bought in Ukraine that are not subject of special regulations

Exporting works of art and antiques (anything made before 1950) will require a certificate by the Ministry of Culture located in Prorezna street in Kiev. The process can be complicated, so it's better to inquire the shop assistant or customs authorities whether your purchase must be cleared.

We strongly advise you to keep all the receipts for purchases in Ukraine to avoid problems at customs.
