Customs

Customs procedures in Ukraine are not much different from the traditional European standards. Special import/export regulations may cover religious materials, antiquities, medications and some other items. Weapons, radioactive and other harmful materials, copies with propaganda of war, racism and discrimination are not allowed in or out of Ukraine.

Note that you can’t send money through the international mail as it will be confiscated. Also, if you take big cash in, don't forget to declare it to avoid problems and long quarrels with enforcement officers on the way back.

Be careful about sending to Ukraine the staff bought through e-auctions, eg Ebay or Amazon. The online sales and marketing are not developed in the country nor welcome at the customs house. The levies might seem outrageously high.
