Sending regular letters from a European country to Donetsk and vice versa may be frustrating. Letters are often lost or delivered with big delays. If you still decide to experience the postal services in Ukraine, go to the central post office in Artyoma street. If you want to send a parcel, don’t wrap it up at home. Take everything you wish to send to the post office and have them wrap it up for you.
For valuable packages an international or local courier company is a good choice.
Our advice: never try to send anything to Ukraine using online auctions or shops: eBay, Amazon, etc. The Ukrainian customs house is extremely suspicious of such deliveries. ólearance procedure can take up to several weeks and levies are high. You might find it eventually easier and (cheaper) just to return the package back.
